Improving mental wellness through on-site

haircare

Haircare is Essential

Especially for people who lack access to culturally competent haircare.

At ClipDart, we are revolutionizing the haircare experience through our purpose—'Our Why.' Founded by Kyle Parker, ClipDart arose from his personal battle with haircare inequity as a college student in rural Iowa where haircare was largely inaccessible. His experience inspired ClipDart’s commitment to tackling haircare inequity in all its forms— be it travel, cost, discrimination, or other barriers. Today, we provide on-site and culturally competent haircare for underserved communities, all aimed at improving mental wellness. For us, cultural competency means tailoring our services to meet the unique needs of each person, regardless of their background. Through our innovative B2B model, ClipDart is breaking barriers & making haircare accessible to all!

An Overlooked Barrier to Mental Wellness

  • Icon of a bus front view with headlights and a destination sign

    TRAVEL

Many, especially underrepresented communities, must travel inconvenient distances to access a skilled hair professional they feel comfortable with.

  • Black price tag with a dollar sign and a hole for attachment

    COST

Haircare costs have surged 100% since 2021, making it difficult for many to find consistent and affordable haircare services.

  • Silhouette of a group of people with one person in front showing a sad or worried expression.

    DISCRIMINATION

Discrimination at shops & salons discourages many from seeking haircare, especially those facing issues related to age, disabilities, LGBTQ+ identity, violence, and more.

Our Solution

to Haircare Inequity

A woman is getting her hair styled by a hairstylist. The woman has short gray hair and is smiling, wearing a red cape that says "ClipDart". The hairstylist has dark hair tied up and is smiling at the camera.

We partner with organizations to provide on-site and culturally competent haircare.

Our mission is to improve mental wellness within underserved communities through equitable access to culturally competent haircare.

We visualize a world free of haircare inequity!
